Theresa's Retirement Wish

Since 1991 Theresa Buchanan has been a valuable community citizen fighting and fundraising for our Hospital.  Here we are 30+ years later and Theresa has shown her dedication to the Hospital and the Foundation over all those years.  Theresa was the Foundation's administrator from 2016 to

 2025.  During that time Theresa was instrumental in coordinating fundraising events and managing the Foundation's business affairs.  When Theresa came looking for you ... you knew her feisty nature was impossible to turn down.  

Theresa has a wish however ... it is to have our Fundraising account hit the

MILLION DOLLAR mark in 2025.  

The Foundation is always looking for ways to fundraise to assist with requests from the Hospital for anything from equipment to furniture.   As well, conversations continue with the NS Health Board about the overall needs and status of the Hospital.  The Foundation wants to be proactive in meeting the needs of any new proposals.

So please join us in thanking Theresa for her commitment to the Foundation and in helping the Hospital with all its ongoing needs.  Her energy and passion will be missed.​​
